Skubana + Jet Integration Streamlines Inventory Management
February 28, 2017 3 min read
Skubana is pleased to present its new Jet integration, which will allow e-commerce sellers to monitor their inventory across Jet and other channels, as well as gauge profits despite the great discounts that draws users to Jet.
The Jet acquisition by Walmart was one of the most discussed highlights of 2016 in e-commerce. It was said to be the biggest deal for an online startup, and Walmart's biggest effort to combat Amazon, which has been dominating the e-commerce game for years.
But even before the powerhouse duo started, Jet.com was a gold mine on its own. It has been distinguished in e-commerce by its compelling pricing strategy, offering shoppers a discount based on purchase amount, which in turn reduces costs on both ends. While Jet.com doesn’t have as large of audience as some of their competitors, the website does attract buyers who want to make bulk purchases from the same seller. This opens more opportunity for e-commerce retailers with multiple products that go well together, because it can increase sales overall.
Skubana + Jet integration provides automatic inventory tracking and profit analysis
Skubana’s all-in-one e-commerce solution allows you to directly integrate your products and inventory into the Jet.com API so that you can track and maintain your inventory across all your sales channels. Skubana syncs your inventory every 15 minutes so you don’t have to worry about overselling.
With Jet.com’s price drop approach, it is expected that customers will be making larger purchases to get more savings. And with that many orders, it is important that your fulfillment process is executed well. With Skubana, we’ve got you all covered from the store all the way to the warehouse. Track your inventory efficiently to cut costs and invest more time in the things that matter to your business’ growth. Don't forget to take advantage of the printing labels, too.
Lastly, with the use of Skubana’s analytics, you will also have an overview of your earnings to ensure that you’re still making a profit in spite of discounts. Check which products are doing well and which aren't. Knowing how your entire business is doing is one of the keys to a lucrative and successful e-commerce business.

It's no wonder Jet.com has to be one of the top marketplaces to sell on. With its huge customer base, innovative pricing strategy, and other perks, you can never go wrong with selling on this platform. Just recently, Jet.com kicked off 2017 with its acquisition of ShoeBuy, an online shoe retailer, which is the main competitor of Amazon’s Zappos.
