Company Time Zone Setting 🌐

You now have the option to set the time zone that is used throughout your Skubana account.

Eastern Time Zone-1

Key Takeaways: This update will not affect every place you see a timestamp shown in the Skubana UI, including any reports run in or shipments stated in UTC. However, it will affect the timezone orderbots run in, grids are shown in, and history timestamps are shown in. This will take effect as soon as the feature is turned on for your account.

Read on to understand exactly what is affected!

Note: Please contact your Account Manager or reach out to live chat / to have this feature enabled.

Amazon Pacific Time Zone Orderbots Setting ⏰

You now have the option to dictate whether orderbots pertaining to dates process using Pacific Time as opposed to the usual time zone used for orderbots, UTC.

Amazon integration

Key Takeaways: This setting will make all date-related orderbot filters and actions convert to Pacific Time instead of the default UTC or the Company Time zone. This setting will not affect the UI for orders or shipments concerning dates. Dates in the Orders and Shipments module's UI will still be entered in the Skubana database in UTC and will appear in orders, shipments, and analytics as they usually would.

Tax Identifiers 🛃

Shipper Tax ID (Types & Values) can now be automated by Skubana based on the Ship-To Country for an international order.

tax identifiers

Key Takeaways: While the option to fill out the Shipper Tax ID has existed, you can now build out automation on a country basis using “Country Defaults”. With one Country Default allowed per Ship-To Country value, you can take out the manual step of filling out this information for international shipments.

Print Customs Forms 🖨️

You can now print Customs Forms separately from shipping labels.

custom forms

Key Takeaways: In the Shipments and Orders modules, you will be able to print customs forms for shipped international orders. This is supported for in-house shipments processed natively in Skubana, through Endicia, FedEx, & UPS. They will always print as 8.5x11 PDFs. You can select multiple international shipments at a time to print customs forms for them in one PDF.

Note: Please contact your Account Manager or reach out to live chat/ to have this feature enabled.

Shopify Multi-Location Warehouse Default Mappings 🗺️

When mapping a Shopify sales channel utilizing Multi-Location, Skubana will default any unmapped channels to “No Location”.

shopify location mappings

Key Takeaways: Previously, warehouses that were never mapped to a particular Shopify location were recognized as a "missing mapping". Now they are instead specifically mapped to “No Location”, meaning that inventory and shipments at/from that warehouse will not be pushed to Shopify at all, and this will not result in inventory push error messages.

Ability to Pull in Full Requested Service for Shopify Orders 🧵

You can now opt-in to pull in multiple values for the Requested Shipping Service that comes from a Shopify channel.

pull in multiple values for the Requested Shipping Service-2

Key Takeaways: If an order is placed in Shopify with more than one value for the Shipping Service to use for the order, Skubana can pull in all values for that if you have enabled this setting. If left unchecked (the default), then Skubana will only pull in one.

Read on here for instructions on how to find this setting!

Population of Product Attributes 📝

The {ProductAttributes} Field Replacement has been retired and a new Field Replacement has been added, {ProductAttributesList}.

new po order template

Key Takeaways: If you want to list out the Attributes of products in an order, you can add the new Field Replacement to your existing/new templates. The {ProductAttributes} Field Replacement can be removed from any templates that currently contain them, but there is no effect if you do not remove them. As a retired Field Replacement, it will not populate anything.

Auto P.O. Reorder Rules Estimates 🧮

Reorder Rules Estimates

Key Takeaways: The “Calculate P.O. Estimates” button in the Auto-Reorder Rules tab will now display a message stating that an Auto PO will not be generated if the Auto PO calculations find that it is not suggested to reorder a product at this time. Additionally, the Reorder Quantity is now the “Projected Reorder Quantity”.

Order Edit Warning Icon Added ⚠️

Skubana will now display some new and additional order creation and edit warnings prior to saving to notify users when their edit isn't allowed.

new manual order

Key Takeaways: Users will be given a new warning that their order data does not match with specific requirements and is not allowed. This will happen when orders are created (via spreadsheet import or UI creation) and when orders are edited via the UI.

In the above screenshots, you can see a yellow exclamation point icon next to the order number in the Orders Grid view. This will happen if an order was brought into Skubana with a data issue. This icon will appear until the issue is resolved by editing the order’s data.

In the above example, to fix the issue and allow the order to be created, simply ensure that the order item discount is less than or equal to the order item subtotal.

Issue Date on RMAs Set by Shopify Refund Webhook 📅

Accounts that utilize the Shopify Refund Webhook will begin to see the RMA “Issue Date” set as the same day as the “Date Created” from Shopify.

Deprecated Magento 🖇️

Skubana has deprecated the Magento sales channel native integration. It will no longer be supported or able to be added as a new channel. If you are interested in adding a Magento sales channel, you can utilize one of our app partners that can connect with Skubana.
